First of all, I want to say that I did not let the seller know I had an issue with the order and didn't request any assistance, so I'm not sure how helpful they'd be if I had. They sent me a white set of these when I had ordered the black, and they were about a week late too! I decided I didn't mind that I got sent the wrong color, and went ahead and assembled it anyway. I've been assembling furniture all week as I recently moved, and this was by far the worst experience I've had thus far! The instructions are clear and it's "easy" to assemble, but it's very cheap materials and ended up pretty rickety. I'm going to use it for now but it would not survive another move. The instructions do say to avoid tightening the screws until the very end to avoid it being rickety, but that did not help in my experience. All and all, it will work for now and I love the modern look and modular nature of the piece. It's just, well, kind of crap.A little difficult to build it first but once you finish it looks nice and gives you a good sense of satisfaction on a job well done.Good luck completing this bookshelf without thinking on your feet or without super glue and a screwdriver.Main board of one "L" unit was mis-drilled. All holes offset about one-half inch. End piece therefore misaligned, not allowing completion of assembly. Unfortunately, the only option was Return, not replacement, but I had already discarded the box and packing materials. Amazon did credit one-half the purchase cost. Nervous about ordering again.Love the color and the pieces to assemble are easy to put together, I might order more since my A frame upstairs could use these for the kids. Books, deco, all their little thingsWe got this to place plants on in our sunroom. It was easy for my husband to put together. The only suggestion we have is that you use a little gorilla wood glue on the pegs to ensure their fit and strength. Can’t wait to get my plants on the shelves and my knickknacks in the little bookshelf areas!The cams break easily and are not straight when in finished position. Something is wrong with the alignment also as when tightening, the wood around the cam/bolt holes also splinters.The many options you have to change the box set-up are great, I ended up flipping the entire base and it looks a lot better and also filled in all my electronics great. I ended up purchasing two of them one for me and the other for my daughter a college student to fill in with books because it can be anything you want it to be.
